Annual Invitational Mathematics Tournament
The 20th Annual Mathematics Tournament was held on March 8, 2008.
The Invitational Mathematics Tournament is held
annually on the campus
of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. The Department
of Mathematical Sciences sponsors this annual event early in the spring
term for
regional middle school and high school students. The tournament is
designed to recognize students' accomplishments in mathematics, to
allow outstanding mathematics students to meet and compete with each
other, and to promote public interest in mathematics.
** Please note that only invited schools (who receive information in
the mail) may participate in this event.
